About us
More Than a Café
Same Same But Different is a collective of young entrepreneurs from different backgrounds such as Surfboard Shapers, Licenced Real Estate Agents, Property Managers, physiologists, farmers, baristas, designers, builders, teachers and more trying to leave an impact in our community by presenting ourselves as we are, without stereotypes. SSBD Café is where we all work in an environment that allow is to inspire and share our projects and our ideas
The Café is open every day from 7:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. serving coffee, smoothies and breakfast / lunch.
Most of our products are grown locally or we know the producers and we are proud to say that everything that we offer at SSBD is 100% made in Mexico, such as the coffee beans, surfboards, pottery, tiles, fruit and vegetable produce. All of the products and services offered here are done by people that «Do What They Love».

Behind every product and every service there is a person passionate about what they do. SSBD is a collective shaped by people who create with intention, authenticity and care — people who truly “Do What They Love.” More than just a café, SSBD is a space where creativity, craftsmanship and community come together to inspire meaningful connections and celebrate local talent.
Most of the products we use and offer at SSBD are either grown locally or sourced directly from people we personally know and trust. We are proud to say that everything at SSBD is 100% made in Mexico — from our coffee beans, surfboards, pottery and handmade tiles to the fruits and vegetables served every day at the café. Supporting local producers, makers and small businesses is part of who we are and the kind of community we want to help build.
